Amaury Guichon, also known as “The Chocolate Guy,” is a French pastry chef who has made a name for himself on the international stage thanks to his outstanding talent and creativity. Born in France in 1991, he was drawn to the culinary arts, particularly pastry-making, from an early age.

After graduating from the Savoie Léman Hotel School in Thonon-les-Bains and being awarded the title of “Meilleur Apprenti de France,” he gained valuable experience at prestigious establishments such as Maison Lenôtre, where he honed his skills and established a solid reputation.

In 2017, Guichon became the Executive Pastry Chef and head of R&D at the renowned “Hugo & Victor” in Paris, a venue where he could fully express his boundless creativity. He then moved to the United States, working in a pastry shop and boutique with Chef Jean-Philippe Maury at the Aria Resort & Casino and the Bellagio in Las Vegas.

Highly active and popular on social media since 2016, Amaury Guichon consistently shares his exquisite desserts and chocolate creations with his audience. He boasts nearly 20 million subscribers on YouTube, 15 million followers on Instagram, and 25 million followers on TikTok.

In addition to his title of “Meilleur Apprenti de France” in the chocolate apprentice competition, he also won the Medalla de Oro (best apprentice) in 2010, the Prix des Délices de la Méditerranée in 2011) and came 3rd in the TV competition “Qui Sera le Prochain Grand Pâtissier?” (Who will be the next great pastry chef) in 2013.
